Last weekend I celebrated my birthday the first time at my new house. It was important to me to have all family with me, especially my grandparents.
My 83 year old
grandma (Mom's Mom) and my 99 year old granddad (Dad's Dad) |
My granddad with my step-grandma hiding from too much sun |
And the rest of the family with my step-Mom, Dad, my brother and my Mom |
And since I had to clean my whole house before the family came to visit me I took it as a photo opportunity, so here are all my new rooms.
The living room from one side... |
... and from the other side |
My kitchen from one side... |
... and the other side. |
My home office, there are still lots of shelves missing, just can't seem to find the ones I like... |
The big room in the middle, still don't know what to use it for (besides placing a big party table when friends come over in winter time) |
Going downstairs into the bathroom (do you remember what it looked like before with that "door" in the ground) |
My bedroom from the one side (still lots of paintings missing, Mom)... |
... and from the other side with the door to my walk in closet. |
And here is an update from my yard, remember I planted a lot in spring time and at present harvesting time starts.
Tomatoes |
Tomatoes |
Tomatoes in the back of my house |
Beans |
Broccoli |
Why are my pumpkins not growing like all the other stuff??? |
One of my 5 apple trees, what should I do with that many apples, amazing.
I have no clue why this picture appears like this, I swear I turned it left before uploacing. |
Apples, apples, apples... |
Bell Peppers |
Hot Peppers - no clue what exactly they are, but they ARE HOOOT ! |
And the view is fantastic as always... |
Yeah, we are almost there :-) This is only still a test...
Damn, I did also turn that photo... |
Hope you like my update, I can slowly say: I AM HOME!
You did good, Kiddo!
ReplyDeleteIt's so beautiful...I had some doubts when I saw the 'before' photos. Awesome views of nature, your little gardens, your new buddie Rocki, and family close by - life is good.
Absolutely wonderful Stef! I love your home - you've done so much with it to make it into a very stylish, comfortable home but keeping some of the unique features that make it quirky. You should be proud of yourself. x
